A Healthier Future-Healing Lives, Inspiring Hope
In 2023, MedAsia donated cholesterol testing instruments to The Grace Movement, a non-profit that provides free healthcare to the community of Danbury, Connecticut. The equipment supported their Health Fair on June 3, 2023, where volunteer doctors and nurses offered free health checks. Here is how the partnership came about and what it meant to us.
A Message from The Grace Movement
On the afternoon of May 16, we received a message from Julie Vanostrand, a member of The Grace Movement. She told us about the organization's work providing free healthcare in Danbury and its upcoming event to raise funds for homeless care and food pantries.
Julie explained that on June 3, 2023, doctors and nurses from Danbury would volunteer at the organization's Health Fair. They planned to offer free checks for blood pressure, vital signs, diabetes, and cholesterol to people in the Greater Danbury area.
A Request for Support
After visiting our website, Julie became interested in our Economic Cholesterol Meter LPM-102. She asked whether we would be willing to donate cholesterol test instruments free of charge for the Health Fair.
We were moved by her request and by The Grace Movement's mission. Recognizing how much accessible health services matter to the community, we gladly agreed to support the event.
MedAsia's Donation
Alison Zhu, founder of MedAsia, was eager to take part. Although MedAsia is a small start-up, we were committed to helping the event succeed.
MedAsia donated the blood lipid instruments and test strips The Grace Movement needed, free of charge. The team at The Grace Movement thanked us warmly for our support of their public service work.
Photos from the 2023 Health Fair
Julie kindly shared photos from the event. Seeing the smiles of attendees and the sense of community at the Health Fair made us proud to have contributed.

Our Commitment to Public Welfare
Connecting with The Grace Movement (TGM) reinforced our belief in the importance of public welfare. It showed us how collective effort can change lives, and that public welfare is an ongoing commitment rather than a single act.
As Aesop said, "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." As a small start-up, MedAsia believes in contributing to the public good. Through charitable initiatives, community service, and other forms of support, we will keep looking for ways to help where we can.
We will continue to put our resources, expertise, and passion toward meaningful causes, and we hope to inspire others to join us in building a healthier, more caring future.
